Hugh Masekela 'Mama told you not to worry' 1977. Not one of Masekela's strongest albums, sounds like he was trying to stretch out a bit and get away from that South African groove thing, but had no idea where to go with it. Went towards George Clinton territory but it doesn't look like he found anything there.
I like the lazy groove of Makonko (a classic Masekela's number) and the title track has its moments, but that's about it.
I read it. Keep writing it.
