Blah blah blah to you. Gosh what happened, did you find a spider in your soup or something? :-)
Hugh Masekela 'Mama told you not to worry' 1977. Not one of Masekela's strongest albums, sounds like he was trying to stretch out a bit and get away from that South African groove thing, but had no idea where to go with it. Went towards George Clinton territory but it doesn't look like he found anything there.
I like the lazy groove of Makonko (a classic Masekela's number) and the title track has its moments, but that's about it.
All posted media is for educational purposes only. Due to limited storage space, all links will expire after 21 days. Having said that, I hope you enjoy the music! You never know what I may post from one day to the next -- moog, soul, library music, electronic, prog rock...I love it all -- so I would drop by everyday if I were you. Don't hesitate to leave comments every now and then, I won't mind. No, really...I won't. Try it if you don't believe me! -- Danny!
